INTERNATIONAL LITERARY PANEL SIĆEVO 2018

AGENDA

The 28^th International Sićevo Literary Panel is a public city manifestation which is traditionally held every year in the middle of September, with the most significant writers and intellectuals from Niš and Serbia participating, as well as chosen writers from abroad.

            The 2018 Panel has thirteen participants, four of them being foreign writers (from Iran, Moldova, Latvia and Bulgaria), while the remaining writers come from different regions of Serbia. A special place on the Panel agenda is occupied by contents such as the round table of the participants and guests (this time devoted to travel literature), the presentation of Ramonda Serbica and Mikina Čaša awards, the literary portrait of the winner of the Ramona Serbika award, as well as a significant number of apposite activities in Sićevo and Niš.

            During this year’s panel, the Ramona Serbica award is to be presented to the writer Zvonko Karanović, for the entire perennialcreatorship of a domestic writer who put a particular stamp on the history of Serbian contemporary literature, while the decision about the informal accolade Mikina Čaša, dedicated to the individual who particularly contributed to the affirmation, organization and development of the International Literary Panel in the vivid ambience of Sićevo, is to be arrived at on the penultimate day of the panel.
